Participating in Y Combinator School has proven to be one of the most transformative experiences for our team. Unlike conventional startup programs that primarily emphasize theoretical knowledge or fundraising strategies, YC School encourages participants to take immediate and decisive action. This proactive approach is underpinned by a straightforward yet profoundly impactful philosophy: "Talk to your customers. Build what they need. Do it fast." This mantra serves as a guiding principle, pushing us to prioritize our customers' needs above all else.

Within the framework of YC School, there is no external pressure to meet milestones. However, participants quickly come to the realization that achieving these milestones is essential or risk falling behind in a competitive landscape. The program emphasizes meaningful Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that truly matter to our progress. These KPIs include crucial questions such as: How many customers did you engage with this week? Have you launched your product? Are users actively engaging with your offering? What insights have you gained from your interactions with users? For GrinaPay, tackling these questions has compelled us to step beyond our comfort zones.

Instead of remaining behind our screens, fine-tuning code, we actively engaged with our community. Just today, I made an astonishing 367 calls to members of our community. This process is undoubtedly challenging and can be exhausting, but it is precisely this type of effort that creates genuine impact and fosters meaningful relationships.
